ACM = Good Times

The run on the exhibits at the Austin Children's Museum seems to last forever. I'm not sure however, that my kids would ever care about the monotony! I really need to utilize my membership there. They enjoy every visit so much.

The main showing featured 'sounds' still, but that is not what stole the show for my crew. Of course we made the usually rounds... vet, cows, trains and kitchens, but upstairs, which I'm not sure we visited last go round, featured a construction set-up. Lil'J could have stayed there another 4 hours and not tired. Clear cut heaven for my little OCD man. He walked around with pocket fulls of nuts and bolts, a screwdriver in one hand and another in his pocket! He was intent on the fact that he would build a house like the one on the picture on the wall. He was purely in love!!

In the connected room was the recycled craft room which my Baby Doll has found new connection with ever since her entrance into QUEST. She made some sort of "door bell chime on a keychain" contraption and wanted to make another for her friend K so she "could come over every day and you wouldn't have to get up to answer the door mommy"..... Gosh is that a hint that mommy has gotten lazy??
