Me: Not until you have both cleaned up your rooms.

A: {15 minutes later} I'm done! Come see Come see!
What I found halted me in my tracks. I'm not sure what to think or do about it. But as in all tense or emergency situations, I did what I always do. I take a picture. Reasonable right? After all, I knew that at the least, I must terrorize Critter with it. But in true to my life form, it backfired. The girl walked in and caught me snapping away. Now she probably thinks that she did something amazing and magical. When she asked why I was there doing this, I of course in true Mollie form, say nothing and retreat.
So I immediately go into Critter's office to horrify the boy, even though I know he is lost in programming land and I shove my camera in his face. He stared. He stared some more. Then he formed some sort of duck lipped formation with his mouth and began shaking his head in a small violent way repeating "I don't like that. I don't like that at all."
The time I have feared, has come. She's recently shared with me stuff she learned from a friend about what 'sexy' means. {In case you're wondering, it's when two people take off their clothes and kiss.} I remember clearly my mom handing me a book called "A Doctor Talks to 5-7 Year Olds". She told me to read it and come talk to her when I was done. I'm pretty sure that book isn't in print anymore. So, I'm appealing to the masses.... Thoughts? Recommendations?

Oh! ummm. wow. I'd say, sit down and find out what she thinks it all means, what's going on in the dollhouse, where she learned what she knows, etc. But without interegating. fine line. I know. This at least gives you a foundation of what is going on in her head. Then I'd say clear up any misunderstandings and misinformation in very basic terms. Start slow and add as she asks questions or needs clarification. There are books out there to help. I don't have any titles off hand. I think Beth Whales had some she recommended at some point. Best of luck to you... most importantly stay calm and approach it in a nonchalant manner.
