"Sickies Sickies Everywhere"

this was the start of the song i was singing in the kitchen, complete with bouncing and twirling, as I made the kids dinner. it went along with the tune from the sound of music (thanks D) i improvised the words as I went thankful that Crit was not home to witness this.

people have said it for years. that i had lost my mind. but i don't truly think it had begun until today. i am just not one to stay home day in and day out. the kids are still sick and i am beyond bored. cabin fever would be a good description. the highlight of my week has been a trip to sonic. pathetic eh? beyond that, i've only been to the doctors office and the pharmacy. sigh. you'd think that with all this home time my house would be spotless. you would be wrong. with the onset of all this rain has come my allergies. my head is pounding and my body is lazy. pills are not doing the trick. oh woe is me...

what a great little pity party! this wasn't my intent. rather to just tell those interested that our miss A has been diagnosed with walking pneumonia. the girl, like her daddy, can't do anything just half way :)
